It seems like this one has been on the easel for a very long time! I haven't been doing a good job of taking pictures of the progress and updating the blog, sometimes I feel that there is a point in the paintings that I don't want anyone to see! So here it is, very much near the finish line! I will keep it on the easel for a little longer, stare at it until I think it's going to come alive, and tweak things a little here and there!

I met him when we lived in Steamboat Springs, CO. He and his wife have a summer home in a little town north of Steamboat.
